Our story

Pawsitive Ambiance was born from love, loss, and the desire to create comfort through scent. After retiring from military service in 2018, I found peace in the simple joy of candle making — a hobby that became a healing outlet after losing my beloved dog, Cody.

Just six weeks later, when the house felt too quiet, Shadow found her way into our lives and six weeks after that, Storm followed. Neither had a microchip and no one came forward to claim them.  So of course they were ours.  It felt as if the universe knew our hearts needed mending.  Their companionship reignited my light and reminded me how love can heal even the deepest loss.

What began as a way to honor Cody’s memory grew into a dream realized — a small business dedicated to spreading that same sense of comfort and connection. Each hand-poured candle and wax melt is crafted with care, inspired by the love and loyalty our pets bring into our lives. Because at Pawsitive Ambiance, home will always be where the paws are.
